Obama Praises Clinton Aide Targeted By Bachmann: ‘Huma Is An American Patriot’
Michele Bachmann and four other Members of Congress have targeted Huma Abedin, a top aide to Hillary Clinton, suggesting in a letter to the State Department that she is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. Bachmann, without a shred of evidence, asserts that Abedin may be part of a larger “infiltration” of the American government by the group. Bachmann has stood by her false allegations and has even picked up support from high profile Republicans like Newt Gingrich. (Other Republicans, like John McCain, have denounced Bachmann’s attacks.)
