delphi xe7 upload/download dropbox file using the rest client and show progress -

using xe7 rest client able authenticate , kind of information file list, account info, etc. how can upload , download files progress indication? uploading useful if there examples small file using /files_put (max file size 150mb) , bigger 1 using /chunked_upload dropbox api

you send put request using idhttp according documentation have mentioned. don't forget add header "authorization" login information rest client.

idhttp.put('https://api-...', ffilestream, fresponsestream); 

this block main thread (ui) if want upload/download , show progress, have use separate thread - first create tthread, in "work" procedure run upload/download.

now have handle progress. can in onwork event of idhttp component. pass status thread main thread. don't forget synchronize call correctly - can use idnotify this.
